My family and I had THE MOST AMAZING experience with Jing Shao Photography! We have been getting family photos taken for years and our Maternity Photo Shoot with Jing has been hands down the best. We did some boudoir photos at her studio and then family photos in a nearby park and they are gorgeous!

In addition to taking beautiful pictures the thing I liked most about our experience was the guidance and direction Jing provided. I loved that she had a plan for the progression of the photo shoot and was able to give us guidance on where/how to stand or position ourselves. We have a two year old - so no easy feat! She was also very encouraging and made us feel completely at ease while she was taking the photos.

I could literally go on for days about what a great experience this was - but I think the thing that I loved the most, was her enthusiasm for photography. You could tell she genuinely enjoyed taking the photos and her passion was contagious and made us really enjoy having the photos taken. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone and will be returning for any future family photos!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Jing. She has photographed my son’s milestone session recently, and I wouldn't consider anyone else because her photographs are emotion filled and magazine worthy! Somehow in all the chaos, she captures real and beautiful moments of our family. Her studio wardrobe is thoughtfully curated with elegant pieces for both moms and babies. She went above and beyond in all aspects including styling my family before the shoot, preparing safe toys and props for my boy, and helping us select final images. It is truly a gift to see a linen print box full of beautiful images of our family to cherish forever. I strongly recommend her and her studio if you are planning to have a family photography.

We live in the Philly area and looked at several different photographers for maternity and newborn photos. We decided to go with Jing because she has a gorgeous, whimsical style that we really liked. I'm so glad we decided on her as our photographer.

For the maternity session, she was flexible in changing times because the weather predicted rain and we really wanted outdoor photos. She also provided multiple different outfits so I didn't have to worry about what to wear or bring. Her indoor studio has beautiful lighting and she allowed for multiple outfit changes. The outdoor park also provided a beautiful setting for maternity photos and is only a short drive away. She was also kind enough to let us include our dog (our furbaby!) for the shoot and was very patient even when our dog misbehaved. Furthermore, she was very timely in getting the photos back to us and we had sneak peek photos ready within a few days. The photos are wonderful and we are so thankful that we picked her to capture and remember this moment.

For the newborn session, Jing was again very flexible with timing. She was incredibly patient and wonderful with our newborn. She has a true knack for positioning the baby for the best effect in photos. She included outfits for the baby and for me and captured multiple shots of the entire family. The photos are truly beautiful and commemorate this special time in our baby's life. We were very impressed with her skill, professionalism, and how easy she is to work with.

Jing is an extremely talented natural light photographer. I was so impressed with the shots she took of me and my daughter during our 3 month milestone session. She truly captured the love of a mother and daughter in every picture. I can't wait to frame my favorite photos. I have already scheduled my daughter's first birthday session. I will continue to hire Jing to capture all of my daughter's milestone memories because of her professionalism and exceptional talent.

We had the most wonderful experience working with Shao photography. Jing has a beautiful studio that served as a the perfect backdrop to capture what came out to be truly amazing images. She was professional and responsive as we scheduled - answering all my questions and helped with some specific requests we had. The website experience to fill out forms, view proofs, and make selections was seamless. I like that her prices are transparent and all inclusive. On the day of our portraits, Jing knew just how to get our baby to laugh and interact even though he was pretty tired that day. She captured moments that felt real and candid and creatively composed images that really capture our love for our son. I just personally love her style and the feel of her art - I think it sets her apart as a family photographer in the Philadelphia area as I did a lot of comparative research. I was so so happy with our experience and our photos. I can't recommend her enough!
